Friends, poets, hip-hop heads, rappers, wordsmiths, and music lovers,

I just had my first article published on Thought Catalog. It’s about Macklemore and Ryan Lewis winning a couple of The GRAMMYs and why that happening isn’t the death knell for hip-hop and rap.

My thoughts and feelings on this whole subject were far more complex than I initially expected, and I’m proud of the final product. Please read the whole article (linked below), and if you agree or disagree, please say so in the comments section beneath the article itself.

Many thanks in advance for your thoughtful opinions and discussion, and I encourage you to continue them there.
